Early Learners is an art-exposure program created by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, designed for parents and caregivers with children ages 0-6 in search of arts activities and cultural experiences outside of the home. The program is hosted by the Cultural Council at its headquarters (601 Lake Avenue, Lake Worth Beach).
The program comprises arts-related workshops that center on the sensorimotor and language development (literacy) stages in early childhood. Each workshop has a cultural focus and are designed to encourage curiosity and creativity, independence and social relationships, and positive family interactions.

Each class series is designed for a specific age range and runs for four weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from June 29 to July 21, 2021. All classes are FREE to attend but because space is limited, advance registration is required online at palmbeachculture.com/earlylearners.

Early Learners Workshop Information
- Little Artist: Creative Reuse
Every Tuesday, June 29 through July 20, 10 to 11 a.m.
For children ages 2 to 6 with an accompanying adult.
We invite you and your children to discover their inner artists in these exciting, process-based art workshops! Each week includes a hands-on art project created with recyclable materials.
- Little Theatre Workshop
Every Tuesday, June 29 through July 20, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For children ages 0 (birth) to 6 years with an accompanying adult.
This workshop series will inspire creativity and curiosity and invite both independent play and positive family interactions through the lens of theater acting, movement, and much more!
- Toddler Yoga
Every Wednesday, June 30 through July 21, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
For children ages 18 months to 4 years with an accompanying adult.
- Babies & Toddlers Yoga
Every Wednesday, June 30 through July 21, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For children ages 0 (birth) to 6 with an accompanying adult.
This workshop series will introduce age-appropriate movement instruction for babies and toddlers using yoga as a form of creative movement. Each session will promote and encourage physical strength, flexibility, positive family interaction, concentration, and self-esteem/confidence through general movement and movement to music. Each lesson will focus on key building blocks taught in the early stages of dance such as following directions, movement to rhythm and sound, free play and movement, and the development of both fine and gross motor skills.
