Thanks to the Colēgia platform, we are able to connect every child with their classroom teacher—live. The platform helps Somerset Academy JFK connect our students and their families and gives them the stability and resources they need to be successful in these unprecedented times. Colēgia delivers a secure digital platform that hubs educational applications, content and communications.
Students attend class on a live video with their teacher using Colēgia, learning together with classmates as they would in a traditional classroom. Teachers call on them and keep them engaged in peer-to-peer discussions. Together with our Classroom of the Future concept that offers both remote and face-to-face instruction, we plan on being able to offer students the safest learning environment possible in accordance with district and health department guidelines.
