Somerset Academy JFK is now accepting applications for August 2019. As a tuition free
public charter school serving kindergarten through eighth grade in suburban Lake
Worth, we pride ourselves in creating an innovative and welcoming learning space for

Somerset Academy JFK’s dedication to developing accountable, global learners was evident in
their recent partnership with the Pennies For Patients campaign supporting The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society. Thanks to the generosity of Somerset Academy JFK’s amazing school
families, we were able to raise $4,000! These funds will go toward blood cancer research with
the ultimate goal of creating a world without cancer. Thank you to everyone who supported us
in this worthy cause.
Originally founded in 2002 as an “in the workplace” school of choice for JFK Medical Center, we
are now proudly a member of the award-winning Somerset Academy network of schools. Our
school is committed to developing the whole child; with a focus on developing the skills that are
needed to compete in the world of work; continue further education; and have the skills to
successfully interact in our community. We offer before and after school programming, and
limited transportation is available within our transportation zone (2-4 miles from campus). Our
students enjoy art, music, PE, and computer classes, in a modern, safe and secure campus.
Using Thinking Maps, our teachers establish a consistent language for learning across grade
levels and subject areas. This allows students to increase their potential with every year they
attend.
