Somerset Academy JFK is a tuition free public charter school serving grades K-8, committed to helping our students reach higher levels of critical and creative thinking. Originally founded in 2002 as an “in the workplace” school of choice for JFK Medical Center, we are now proudly a member of the award-winning Somerset Academy network of schools. Our school is committed to developing the whole child; with a focus on developing the skills that are needed to compete in the world of work; continue further education; and have the skills to successfully interact in our community. We offer before and after school programming, and limited transportation is available within our transportation zone (2-4 miles from campus). Our students enjoy art, music, PE, and computer classes, in a modern, safe and secure campus. Using Thinking Maps, our teachers establish a consistent language for learning across grade levels and subject areas. This allows students to increase their potential with every year they attend.
