From an all-inclusive we usually expect to forget where we placed our wallet, to eat too much at the buffet, and to be active participating on the numerous activities included in the resort, but what we did not expect is to see our family thrive. Our kids Self-esteem was truly developed by the amazing G.O.'s (Gentil Organisateur) and coaches. My husband loved the golf academy. Our 5-year-old said she wanted to stay forever at the mini club with Superman & Wonder Woman (the G.O.'s nicknames) and our 14-year-old forgot about her phone, made friends, and played a bunch of sports while having so much fun. We enjoyed the only all-inclusive resort in the U.S. while providing our family with a nourishing and fun experience.
Sandpiper Bay Resort is located on the banks of the Saint Lucie River, only 56 minutes away from Lake Worth, offering 307 rooms and 7 two-story buildings, our room was on the first floor, with sliding door to the patio facing a beautiful view of the river. The room had everything we needed, we only went there to sleep and take a bath because there so much to do outside, however I have to mention that the walking closet was so spacious that everybody got their own space, that little details made my life so much easier.
After a quick check-in we parked and walked a few steps to our room, we dropped everything inside, I quickly connected to the WiFi to download the app to have the schedule handy (you can also check the schedule at the reception or on the boards around the resort)
After settling in we walked around to explore the resort, here are the Before the kids found the kids and teen, after the joined the clubs we didn’t see much of them, every time we went to pick them up they asked to stay a little longer.. priceless clubs
The teen club is the meeting point, however they do so many activities that they didn’t stay inside the club for long, they went to do trivia by the bar, played beach volley, soccer, played tennis and fly in the trapeze to name a few of the activities.
We decided to do a “Mini Golf family challenge” it was a lot of fun and an activity that we enjoyed as a family it got a little competitive at some point but we had a great time. The kids pool is conveniently located next to the kids club, however it is not exclusive for children participating in the club’s activities, families with little ones can enjoy it too.
“It was so fun because, we had the best Lizard club, I enjoyed going to the pool, the playground and all the activities we did and I really liked dancing” Celeste – 5 years old.
We went checking on the little one a few time and every time she was having so much fun that we went back to our own activities (like relaxing with a book by the river) with a smile in our faces, because there’s no better felling in the world than to know that your children are happy.
Daddy had a lot of fun too, and told us all about his morning of golf and tennis when we met for lunch, he was thrilled that the instructor gave him such good advice. The gorgeous views of the meticulously maintained 18-hole golf course, offering access to practice facilities, professional swing coaches and instructors.
Mommy did some exercise too, in order to eat more dessert without regrets, plus it was a great class. Earlier, I enjoyed the Pilates class. The Fitness Academy offers the finest facilities and equipment for fitness fans, with a wide range of activities such as stretching BODYPUMP, Zumba, and power walking. For an extra cost anybody can enjoy a unique experience comprising sport, personal training, regeneration and guidance on nutrition.
There’s no rule about eating dessert first or start telling you about the delicious food starting with desserts, you can always be good and eat some of the fresh fruits and or you can try these delicious pastries, but there’s a wide range of international dishes, including Asian, Italian, Mexican and American cuisine, from duck à l'orange, to hamburgers, everybody was extremely pleased with the food. 
I have to make a distinction comment about the bread, yes ‘the bread’ was perfection I’m not sure if it’s because it is just out of the oven or they have ‘a secret recipe’ but OMG 
After a day full of activity we took a refreshing shower and got back out to enjoy the entertainment. The acrobats are awesome to watch, great performances but our favorite was the dancing party, animated by the staff everybody was dancing and having a great time.
After dancing the night out, family style, the next morning the kids were eager to go back to their respective clubs and knowing that the kids were having a good time, my husband and I were able to relax at the adults-only pool (with its own bar) a Jacuzzi and beautiful views of the river.
Let me tell you about three pleasant surprises, we witness a vow-renewing ceremony at the beach, the set up looked so nice and the sunset made it perfect moment, and we realized that Club Med is a great place to celebrate a special event, like a wedding, a birthday or a family reunion.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the boutique sales, a Club Med t-shirt is a great souvenir to take home to remember the amazing time that we spend together.
Lastly, before you reach the adult only pool there's a dock and for an extra cost there is Water-skiing, Tubing and more. Sail a catamaran on the St Lucie River, Kayaking and .Paddle Board is included.
We had a great family time, the kids forgot about their electronic and truly enjoyed the wonderful activities that Club Med offers, as a family we spent quality time together and I couldn’t write a review about our wonderful family vacations at Club Med SANDPIPER BAY without mentioning what makes this wonderful resort unique, for my husband was the sports academies, for the rest of us it was the staff or G.O Gentil Organisateur, always with a smile on their faces, they are so helpful and they truly make the kids and adults get engage in the activities and the fun.
