Inspired by our many visits to The Lab For Kids, we made some flubber (a little thinker consistency than slime). Not messy at all!
Here is what you need:
3/4 cup cold water
1 cup Elmer’s glue (2 bottles of glue - hope you stashed up during the great sales for back to school).
liquid food coloring - used just about 2 drops (it goes a long way)
1/2 cup hot water - 30 seconds in the microwave
1 teaspoon Borax (you can find this in a box in the laundry aisle) approx $3
Directions:
In bowl 1 – mix together the cold water, glue, and food coloring. Set it aside.
In bowl 2 – mix together the hot water and Borax, until the Borax is completely dissolved.
Slowly add glue mixture to borax mixture. Mix well. Pour off excess water.
