The mango fruit theme for the tenth annual Children & Parents Day will include art, history, culinary, nutrition and agriculture. The mango fruit theme will be incorporated in all aspects of the all-day event that involves, arts and crafts workshops conducted by local artists, storybook reading by the “Mango Farmer,” face painting, souvenir photos under the “mango tree,” cooking demos and kids cooking classes hosted by local chefs.
Children & Parents Day will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 12 noon to 4pm at the historic Boynton Woman’s Club in Boynton Beach, FL. This historic building was designed by the famed architect Addison Mizner and is on the National Registry of Historic Places. The mango theme for the tenth annual Children & Parents Day will include the following categories art, healthy eating, fitness, farming and Florida history. The fees are inclusive of all arts, crafts, entertainment, souvenir photos and all-you-can-eat buffet.
The advance purchase discount rate is $15 per person/senior citizen/adult children age 3 and over; free for children under age 3.

The annual Children & Parents Day was established in 2005 with the purpose of providing a fun-filled day of family adventures with arts, crafts and history education activities for children. The Museum of Lifestyle & Fashion History is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that was established in 1999. This cultural organization has presented more than 18 exhibitions ranging from the history of fashion to hosting traveling exhibits from the Smithsonian Institution. MLFH also conducts the Taste History Culinary Tours of Historic Palm Beach County and the Narrated Bus Tours of Historic Palm Beach County.
