Taste History Culinary Tours of Historic Palm Beach County

Next tour is Saturday October 11th!

October 2, 2014

I had a great experience when my husband and I went on the non-profit Taste History Culinary Tours of Historic Palm Beach County - visiting over 10 places in Boynton & Delray that I have never been to before. Children 18 and under are free but because mine are still young (5 and 3) it was best we didn't take them. I wanted to be able to enjoy a few hours not playing mommy. One of the wonderful things about this experience was visiting places we have never gone to right here in our community. Ms. Lori was phenomenal on the tour, and we not only got to taste some delicious food but we learned a lot of interesting history.

Saturday, October 11th traveling to Lake Worth and Lantana; and Saturday, October 18th and October 25th both going to Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.

Sponsored by Macy's and offered year-round, the Taste History is a three-hour to four-hour food-centric narrated excursion of bus riding and four to six blocks of walking through historic districts and main streets for alternate visits to eateries, markets, and an urban farm for food history, food culture facts, foodways information and food tastings. Tour guests taste unique cuisines, meet the restaurant owners and chefs; and directors and artists of the cultural centers and art galleries visited on the tour. Florida history is narrated by a guide
